The Digital Photo Academy does an excellent job of coordinating and facilitating these various classes and providing learning opportunities for every skill level. The advanced lighting class by John Bentham in New York was very informative and lots of fun. He is an outstanding photographer as well as a skilled instructor.

John is an excellent teacher! He's patient, explains things clearly--an altogether excellent experience.

I loved the class. John Bentham answered any questions I asked. He took his time answering everyone's questions, looking at their cameras. He's a great instructor, very confident and a very nice man.

John: Thank you for a great day. I learned more yesterday than I did in all my other courses/activities with the exception of the first class I took with you last December! As usual the class was excellent. It was educational as well as social. I learned a lot. I am looking forward to the next class. Mahalia said that she would never look at a picture the same again. I have enjoyed everyone of the classes. My photographic skills have improved exponentially since I have started taking your classes. The best pictures that I have ever taken were taken at the Time square photo shoot on Saturday. sorry I did catch up with the juggler and Tanya. Actually that was the first photo workshop I ever attended so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was a most enjoyable day. Your attitude and style made it both informative and enjoyable. Have I said that I enjoyed it? The fact that the weather was iffy means that I will take the course again in a few months. That is a good thing! The session on lighting was exactly what I wanted and needed. Getting out when the weather is better with your guidance will add another dimension. I also suspect that you never teach the course the same way each time.New York: Advanced

The photography class with John Bentham was extremely helpful to me. I am not a big photographer but whenever I take pictures I want to know how I can get them from good to great, and this class answered all of my questions.

When I heard about this particular seminar, I was hesitant in taking it because of similar seminars being very boring and not so informative. This couldn’t be further from the truth in this case. My experience with John Bentham was fabulous. He was as hands on as an instructor could be. From the moment I walked into his studio, he was attentive, informative, caring and interested in everything we had to ask and say about photography.
