Alison Hahn is originally from Houston, Texas and completed her Master of Fine Art in Photography at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She wanted her first camera when she was 8 years old and has been pursuing book arts and photography passionately for the last 8 years. Alison is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Photography at the University of Texas at Arlington and at Tarrant County College in Hurst, Texas. As an educator and artist she embraces both traditional and digital photography in her work. This series of images, Immaculate Memory, explores the elusive boundaries between the human memory, body and psyche and is based on personal research into several mind-body integration modalities.
