St. Paul Winter Carnival: Minneapolis, MN

On January 26th DPA Instructors Tony Schreck and Mike Dvorak brought their students to the St. Paul Winter Carnival.

The Winter Carnival began in 1886 as a response to a New York newspaper reporter who had described the city as "another Siberia, unfit for human habitation in the Winter." 122 years later the Winter Carnival continues to draw approximately 350,000 visitors a year during it's 12 day run.

The events the class attended were the Securian Frozen 5k and Half Marathon, an ice skating demonstration, the ice carving competition, the Minnesota Hotdish tent, and the Grand Day Parade.
