With DPA Instructor Michael Steinberg
$99
Dating back to the 1840's, the West Side Market is a photographer's dream with an array of architectural subject matter as well as close ups of produce and pastries and soulful and whimsical environmental portraits. Your DPA instructor will be there with you, providing principles of powerful compositions, techniques for dealing with tricky indoor lighting, and tips for approaching the market attendees, whether in the midst of selling or buying.

If you focus on the foods alone, you can fill a memory card with colorful flowers, seafood in bright red shells, fresh meats, brightly decorated cakes, fresh vegetables and fruits of every variety. If it is environmental portraits, you will have more than you can handle, with over 1,000,000 visitors annually as well as the 100+ vendors provide many options. You can also capture the flair of Europeans thanks to the various programs that showcase the West Side Market, on The Travel Channel and the Food Network. The yellow brick indoor Market Place, good to get out of the cold, offers creative options as well. The architects, Hubbel and Bennes, also designed the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Wade Memorial Chapel in Lakeview Cemetery.
