Pilgrim Church in Cleveland

DPA instructor Michael Steinberg took students to the Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ on Sunday April 19th in Cleveland for a special Advanced Photo Workshop.

They spent the day shooting on location at this historic church. The corner stone was laid on July 6, 1893, designed in the architectural style known as "Richardson-Romanesque," a popular Victorian style characterized by round arches and massive structure.
Other architectural features include bell towers, a brass bell, rose windows, stained glass and a breath taking glass ceiling. The class began with a short instructional period at Duda Gallery before heading over to the Church for the afternoon. The class returned to Duda Gallery for a lesson on post capture manipulation and a critique, wrapping up around 6pm.
