Musical Melody in Motion
Joana Young I attended a very special event at the Linen Life Park Avenue, a venue in Emeryville, CA where I shot my first SLR low light motion images. Quite the change from my previous point & shoot! At the time of my shoot, I thought about how often the pianist is shot with the whole piano and partial face or face and no hands, or side view without the face. Since it was a low light atmosphere, I did not want to kill the unique setting with a flash, so I decided to concentrate on the lovely movement of the pianist hands. If you look closely, you can see the movement in the reflection on the piano as well! I've had my SLR for less than a month and I am excited capture more shootings of people in motion!
