San Diego
Welcome to the DPA workshops in San Diego, taught by professional photographers Chris Michaels and Fred Greaves. Classes are held at Ray Street Studios, located in the vibrant North Park district and nearby Balboa Park. Ray Street was founded by photographer and DPA instructor Chris Michaels, when he dedicated two years to converting an old sign-making shop in the artsy North Park neighborhood of San Diego into an ideal workspace for himself and a rental studio for other photographers. Classes meet in the main shooting area, which features a 24-foot, curved cyclorama cove, an adjustable skylight, 16-foot ceiling, and an array of intriguing surfaces to shoot against such as a concrete-block wall, a corrugated metal wall and steel beams. |

Comments From The Students
Just wanted to extend a sincere thanks for your efforts in making the class a success. It was exactly what I had hoped for. You really opened my photographic eyes to the possibilities of what to shoot and some great techniques to do it. I also enjoyed your perspective on mental
aspect of photography. I now realize that is why I have been attracted to it as a hobby. I hope I can email you from time to time for your opinions / advice.> See More Comments From Students For This Location
