| Adv class 2It was great meeting all of you and thank you for attending the DPA advanced workshop on Sunday. Unfortunately the cold cut into our shoot time but this left us more time to look at your images. Practice using Manual setting along with Shutter (T-Time) and Aperture (A-Aperture) priority settings to understand them better. Don’t forget to return your camera settings to a safe-zone after (use white camera tape as a reminder). Keep the relationship between shutter speed, aperture and ISO fresh in your mind – if you change one you often need to compensate with another. Good Luck and send me any follow-up questions you may have.> Read More |

| Advanced ClassThanks for attending the New York Advanced DPA class on 12/9/07. I enjoyed our excursion to lower Manhattan and shooting on The Staten Island Ferry. The weather was a little dreary but this presented you with a few challenges. Practice the lessons we discussed, especially utilizing the right combination of shutter speed, aperture and ISO for each situation. Remember to raise the ISO if you need the extra stop for shutter speed to keep the camera steady in low light. Keep approaching people to photograph.> Read More |
