TO SHOOT THE WONDERS OF CENTRAL PARK IN THE LIVING SOCIAL SHOOT

(Each Saturday 2:00 to 5:00 PM)

The day will start at 79th and Central Park West where the like minded group of friendly photo enthusiast will rendezvous and make their way on the path to the old world romance of the Belvedere Castle built back in 1869 as a watch tower of the city.

Not for off is the colorful charm of the Shakespeare Garden, where the DPA instructor will teach the tricks of Macro Photography. There will even be a Lensbaby lens loaner for each attendee which the teacher will demo and you will learn how to use this inexpensive but powerful tool to manipulate the sweet spot of focus to add an impressionistic sensibility to your images.

Central Park is a place to come away with an array of portfolio worthy images, whether environmental portraiture, cityscapes, nature or curious details of the day. From the Great Lawn, to the Swedish Theater, the local musicians and more, there is a wealth of scenery to capture. And 5 minutes away is the Metropolitan Museum for lessons in Architectural Photography.

So every Saturday, at 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, meet up at 79th and Central Park West to enjoy 3 hours of great shooting, led by a top Pro Photographer to instruct you in taking great photographs.

On hand will be Manfrotto tripods and reflectors, along with a variety of lighting equipment that this world wide manufacturer distributes. Your teacher is there as you relax and just "Point and Shoot," or to give more technical instruction on the equipment that will allow you to work at a more advanced level. The group is small and friendly so there is plenty of time for each no matter what their interests in theme or skill level might be.
